Dealing with Grief and Other Emotional Challenges Through Meditation

Many people are turning to meditation to help cope with the intense and overwhelming emotions that we face in the world today. From the pain of grief from losing a loved one, to the pandemic, a difficult coworker, to an unexpected bill, to other life circumstances. Meditation can be a tool to help anyone deal with the stresses of life. Meditation helps the body and mind find peace and refuge in a time of great challenge and the benefits of practicing this can calm the emotions, release tension and anxiety in the body and aids in acceptance. There will be a chance to practice this meditation technique during this workshop. Please join the Woodbridge Public Library virtually April 8 at 7PM, Jim Rose, M. Ed Rutgers University long time meditator and learn a simple meditation technique that can be life changing.

Jim Rose, M Ed., Rutgers University, is a retired executive of a fortune 100 company.  He has 35 years of experience in Human Resources management, employee development and conflict resolution. Jim currently gives workshops and training to groups throughout the world where he connects meditation and spiritual development to important aspects of our lives. He has been meditating for over 40 years and now focuses much of his time on his own spiritual development and in helping others who wish to do the same.
