September 11, 2019 represented the 18th Anniversary of the Attack on America.  On that fateful day in 2001, nine Woodbridge Township residents fell victim, never to return to their families - Cmdr. Patrick S. Dunn, USN, Edward Allegretto, Marlyn Bautista, John Adam Larson, James Lynch, Charles Mauro, Tonyell McDay, Narender Nath, and Saukara Velamuri.

Hundreds of Woodbridge Township First Responders: Woodbridge Police Department, Woodbridge Fire Departments, First Aid Squads & EMT’s, Office of Emergency Management and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), residents and visitors attended the Interfaith Memorial Service to honor and remember those Woodbridge Township residents who perished on 9/11 and to recognize the bravery and sacrifice of the Woodbridge First Responder Community who risked their lives and sacrificed on that tragic day.  Members of the Woodbridge Interfaith Community Council offered readings, remembrances and prayers, along with the Woodbridge High School Choir performing the National Anthem, God Bless America and Amazing Grace.  Woodbridge will never forget... and will always remember.
