The Remembrance Memorial at Woodbridge Town Hall stands as a tribute to the residents who perished in the September 11, 2001 Attack on America.
September 11, 2017 stands as the 16th Anniversary of the “Attack on America.” On that fateful day in 2001, nine Woodbridge Township residents fell victim... never to return to their families – Cmdr. Patrick S. Dunn, Edward Allegretto, Marlyn Bautista, John Adam Larson, James Lynch, Charles Mauro, Tonyell McDay, Narender Nath, and Saukara Velamuri. On Mon., Sept. 11, 2017, the Office of the Mayor, the Municipal Council, the Woodbridge Interfaith Clergy Council and representatives from the Woodbridge Township Emergency Response community will host: “A Township Remembers: An Interfaith Memorial Service.” The Interfaith Memorial Service will be held outside Town Hall (One Main Street) at the Township 9/11 Memorial Park at 6:00 P.M. Plan to attend to recognize the sacrifice of the nine Township residents who perished in the attack and to honor our emergency service providers who respond to crisis - not just in time of disaster, but every day in every way.
