Stay Safe at the Beach!

As we leap later into the summer, here's a few tips to stay safe at the beach!

ALWAYS swim in an area with a lifeguard close by
Come prepared with sunscreen, a sun hat, sunglasses, umbrella for shade, and a T-shirt to keep shoulders covered
Sunblock should be at least SPF 30 and should be reapplied every 2 hours
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated while being in the sun
Don't swim alone
Know your flags!
- Red: No swimming allowed
- Yellow: Swim with caution
- Green: conditions are safe
- Blue: areas for floatables/rafts
