LECTURE: Viewing Sculpture
Presented by Art Historian Maryann Zolota, this overview of sculpture discusses the materials & methods used for thousands of years by sculptors. It also emphasizes the viewers approach to engaging sculpture by viewing it from different angles while also considering it as a whole. Maryann Zolota discusses sculptural techniques of the Greeks & Romans, progressing through the Renaissance & Baroque, and ending in the 20th century.
