Hometown Hero Banner Application
The Hometown Hero Project places Hero banners on utility poles throughout streets in Woodbridge, Colonia, Fords, Port Reading, Iselin and other high traffic areas. Sponsored by the T. Nulty American Legion Post 471, the Hometown Hero Project honors active-duty military personnel, honorably discharged veterans (living or deceased), KIA or POW/MIA who have established roots to Woodbridge Township. The Sansone - Woodbridge Military Assistance Center & Veteran Service Network works to assist current and returning Woodbridge Area Veterans, National Guard Members, Reservists and Spouses with information and guidance. The representatives of the Sansone - Wood- bridge Military Assistance Center are available to assist Veterans with local business employment opportunities, job and employment training, higher education, counseling, social services, and other areas of concern.
