Main Street Special Improvement District
The Main Street Special Improvement District was created in 2007 by Ordinance with the purpose of securing additional parking for the downtown Woodbridge business district bounded by Route 35, Rahway Avenue, Main Street and Green Street.

The Oak Tree Road Special Improvement District was created in 1991 by Ordinance with the purpose of securing additional parking for the business district along Oak Tree Road between Route 27 and Wood Avenue.
The Planning Board is responsible for reviewing and approving applications for development and subdivisions in permitted zones, reviewing the Master Plan and any amendments thereto, conditional use applications, review capital improvements, bond ordinances and changes in land use ordinances.
The Redevelopment Agency of the Township of Woodbridge is responsible for the implementation of redevelopment plans.
Rent Leveling Board
The Rent Leveling Board promulgates and issues rules and regulations regarding rent control.
Youth Recreation Advisory Board
The Woodbridge Township Youth Advisory Board is committed to provide opportunities that will foster civic engagement, leadership, responsibility and pride among the community’s youth.
Zoning Board of Adjustment
The Zoning Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial board whose purpose is to provide relief from zoning requirements that cannot be satisfied by granting variances from the bulk and dimensional requirements of the Ordinance.
