NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Free Public Library of Woodbridge, NJ, will hold a special meeting to consider a proposal to renovate the Iselin Branch Library.

The meeting is open to the public pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act (N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 to 10:4-2)

TOWNSHIP OF WOODBRIDGE NOTICE The Woodbridge Public Library Board of Trustees in the County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey will hold a public meeting on December 19th, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in Iselin Branch Library, 1081 Green Street, Iselin, New Jersey. The purpose of this meeting is to give consideration to a proposal to renovate the Iselin Branch. Mary (Peggy) Mayerowitz, President, Woodbridge Public Library Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees of the Free Public Library was created under rules established by NJSA 40:54-9. There are 7 appointed members plus the Mayor and the Superintendent of Schools (or their alternates). The appointed Trustees serve terms of 5 years.
The law gives the Board the authority to hire staff, make authorized purchases of library books and other materials, set policies for the use of the library and "… generally do all things necessary and proper for the establishment and maintenance of the free public library in the municipality."
