IN MEMORIAM OF COUNCILWOMAN NANCY DRUMM
1959-2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Woodbridge Township Municipal Councilwoman Nancy J. Bader-Drumm, Councilwoman Drumm, 62, passed away on Sun., Jan. 2, 2022 at her home in Woodbridge with her family at her side.
Nancy Bader-Drumm was born in Perth Amboy on Feb. 22, 1959 to Thomas Bader and Sophie Dobos Bader and was a life-long resident of Woodbridge. A graduate of Woodbridge High School, class of 1977, Nancy Bader-Drumm served as the elected First Ward Councilwoman for Woodbridge Township since 2013 and was Membership Director for the Woodbridge Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce for the past 10 years.
Nancy Bader-Drumm was a lifelong communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge and served on the Saint James Advisory Board. She also served on Woodbridge Township Planning Board and belonged to the American-Irish Association of Woodbridge and B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge #2116, Woodbridge.
Surviving are her loving husband of 33 years, Hugh P. Drumm III; beloved children, Lauren Drumm and her husband, Braden Bish, of Bordentown and Patrick Drumm and his wife, Katherine, of Holmdel; mother, Sophie Dobos Bader of Woodbridge; brothers, Thomas Bader of Midlothian, VA and Brian Bader of Howell; and cherished grandchildren, Sophia Drumm and Hugh Drumm V. Her father, Thomas Bader, passed away in 2002.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thurs., Jan. 6, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Entombment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wed., Jan. 5, 2022 from 2:00 until 8:00 PM at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Saint James Food Pantry, 149 Grove Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 or Woodbridge Township Ambulance and Rescue Squad, 77 Queen Road, Iselin, NJ 08830 made in Nancy’s memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
