This vibrant exhibit from the collection of NJ residents Yuri Mischenko & Natalie Pawlenko, will feature among its vast array of treasures, a selection of “Petrykivka” paintings on canvas as well as “Rushnyky” hand woven and richly embroidered ritual cloths.

Exhibit: The Art of Ukrainian Embroidery On View July 1-August 27
An exhibit of heirloom traditional Ukrainian embroideries produced by the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America, Branch 98. On display are beautiful traditional women’s and men’s shirts, folk costume, pillows, table scarves and runners (servetky), ritual cloths (rushnyky), which exemplify the uniqueness of regional motifs, designs and colors, and types of stitches.
