HOLIDAY TREE PICK-UP SCHEDULED FOR WED., JAN. 10, 2007

WOODBRIDGE PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

 

Woodbridge Township Mayor John E. McCormac today announced that discarded holiday Christmas trees will be picked-up by Township workers on Wed., Jan. 10, 2007. Township residents are asked to place the trees at curb side for pick-up. Wed., Jan. 10 will be the only day that Township workers will be collecting discarded holiday trees throughout the Township.

 

“ Woodbridge Township has a vigorous recycling program and is committed to recycling as much of the waste flow as possible,” Mayor McCormac said. “Each year, Township recycling efforts save hundreds of thousands of dollars in reduced landfill disposal costs while protecting and preserving our environment. I encourage all Township residents to place their discarded holiday trees at curbside for pick-up on Wed., Jan. 10.”
