Woodbridge Board of Ed Polling Place Change

Apr. 4, 2006

The Woodbridge Township Municipal Clerk’s Office has announced a polling place change for the April 18 Board of Education election.

Second Ward voters in Districts 2 and 10 who formerly voted at Hopelawn First Aid Squad will vote at the Hopelawn Firehouse on Loretta Street.

Effective with the New Jersey Primary Election on June 6 of this year and for the foreseeable future, Second Ward voters in Districts 2 and 10 will vote at the Recreation Building at Warren Park on Florida Grove Road across from the basketball courts.

The reason for the second change is to address handicapped accessible requirements established by the federal Help America Vote Act (HAVA).

Registered voters are reminded to check their sample ballots for their current polling place and to bring their sample ballot with them.

For more information call the Clerk’s Office at (732) 602-6007.
