Percentage of Ticket Sales to Benefit Buddy Ball Program
The Newark Bears will sponsor Woodbridge Township Night on Tuesday, August 31, with a percentage of the proceeds benefiting the Township's Buddy Ball sports program, Mayor Frank G. Pelzman has announced.
The Bears play the Camden Riversharks starting at 7:05 p.m. at Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium, 450 Broad Street, Newark. An earlier date, July 28, had been set for the promotion, but has been replaced by the August 31 date.
Woodbridge Township residents can purchase box seat tickets for $8. For every ticket purchased by a Woodbridge Township resident, $1 will go to support the Woodbridge Township Buddy Ball program.
"This is a great family night out at the ball park, for friends and neighbors to meet and watch exciting professional baseball," says Mayor Frank G. Pelzman. "We thank the Newark Bears for their generosity in supporting a community project that benefits many families throughout Woodbridge Township."
To purchase Woodbridge Township Night tickets, call Woodbridge Township Recreation Department at 732-596-4048. Tickets sold on game day are not offered at discount rates.
