Civic Beautification Program Will Bloom throughout Township
With Tree Planting Ceremony at Matthew Jago School

Trees that have matured during the last five years at Woodbridge Township's "tree farm" on the Motiva Enterprises property in Sewaren will begin to be re-planted throughout the township at schools and public sites as part of the township's ongoing beautification program

At 10 a.m. Thursday, April 29, at Motiva Enterprises, 111 State Street, Sewaren, a tree will be dug up and a new sapling filled in to replace it. . .immediately after its removal from the tree farm, the tree will be taken to Matthew Jago School, Glen Cove Avenue, Sewaren and re-planted there by a group of school children. Additional trees will be re-moved from the tree farm and re-planted throughout the township in ensuing weeks.

Mayor Frank G. Pelzman will attend, along with various Council members, township Office of Emergency Management personnel, members of the C.A.P. (Community Advisory Panel comprised of representatives from local industries (Amerada Hess, Motiva, Hatco Chemicals, Colonial Pipeline, PSE&G, and others)
