Outdoor Concerts at Woodbridge High School Set for Monday’s in July & August… Concert-Goers Urged to Bring Food Donations to Support Township Food Banks…

WHAT: Mayor John E. McCormac will announce the all-star lineup for the 2007 Mayor’s Summer Concert Series at a Town Hall press availability on Fri., July 6 at 11:30 a.m. in the Municipal Council Meeting Room. The 2007 Mayor’s Summer Concert Series is sponsored by Sansone’s Route 1 Auto Mall, ShopRite and The Woodbridge Center.

The Summer Concert headliners will take the stage every Monday night in July and August at 7:30 p.m. in the field behind Woodbridge High School. Additionally, contestants from the 2007 Woodbridge Idol contest will perform prior to the main acts. The Mayor’s Summer Concert Series and entertainment program is free.

Concert-goers are encouraged to bring canned goods and non-perishable food items for donation to Township food banks. The opening night of the 2006 Summer Concert series resulted in the donation of a record-setting 4,500 pounds of food.
