Senior Residents Urged to Attend and Participate in Open Discussion

WHAT: Senior Summit and forum where Township senior residents will be able to speak directly to Mayor John E. McCormac and staff to discuss issues of concern, community and service programs, and exchange ideas to benefit senior residents..

Woodbridge Township Mayor John E. McCormac will host the first Township-wide Senior Summit at the Woodbridge Community Center on Mon., Jan. 8 at 10:00 a.m.

Mayor McCormac believes the best way to explore the issues of concern is to meet with and hear directly from Township senior residents. At the Senior Summit, senior residents will be able to present ideas, explore programs and services, and discuss issues of concern.

“This is the first in as series of Senior Summits across the Township which offers an opportunity for senior residents to get to know their municipal officials and to learn about the many available programs and services. It is also an opportunity for me to learn about the issues of concern and what we can do better to assist all senior residents,” Mayor McCormac said.

The Mayor encouraged senior residents and members of the media to attend.
