Mayor Announces Appointments to Oak Tree Road SID

Iselin business owners Jaswant Singh and Ravi Verma have been appointed by Township Council to the Oak Tree Road Special Improvement District Management Council, Mayor Frank G. Pelzman has announced.

Singh and Verma will each serve a three-year term starting June 1, 2004 and ending May 31, 2007. The nine-member management council was created in 1995 by Woodbridge Township Council to assist the township in planning and promoting economic development within the SID boundaries.

"Oak Tree Road is one of the most vibrant and thriving commercial districts in the area," said Mayor Frank G. Pelzman. "The business experience and community commitment possessed by Mr. Singh and Mr. Verma will greatly advance the council's mission."
