Weather conditions permitting, the Middlesex County Mosquito Extermination Commission will conduct a ground spraying operation for adult mosquitoes Sept. 12-13 between 6:30-11:00 p.m. in the Port Reading and Sewaren sections of Woodbridge Township, Mayor Frank G. Pezlman has announced.

Relocation is not required. However, the Commission has issued the following advisements:

1) The spray dissipates within 30 minutes of application, but residents should avoid being directly in the line of spray during application.

2) Air conditioning units should be set to circulate internal air.

• Fruits and vegetables from a garden should be washed before eating, as if they were purchased from a food store.

• Anyone with severe respiratory problems should heed points #1-2.
