Woodbridge Sewer Upgrade Enters Final Phase

The $1.67 million upgrade of the Merrill Park Trunk Sewer System is in its completion phase, Mayor Frank G. Pelzman has announced.
A press conference marking the laying of the final segment of 48-inch diameter pipe is set for Mar. 2 at 9 a.m. Once in the ground, the new pipe will be connected with the existing sewer line.
The sewer enhancement project has replaced 3,600 feet of pipe with larger-size pipe designed to increase the system’s flow capacity.
“This project is an example of the Township planning for the future while upgrading our current level of service,” says Mayor Pelzman.
