WHY: Update on Status of Raritan River Project moderated by Middlesex Co. Freeholder David Crabiel

Water will be on the table and on the menu for discussion at Thursday’s 5 th Annual Mayor’s Breakfast sponsored by the Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce.

Middlesex County FreeholderDavid Crabiel will give an update on the status of the county’s Raritan River Project, an environmental revitalization plan announced last fall that would bring new economic life to riverfront property in several municipalities including Woodbridge, Perth Amboy, South Amboy, Sayreville, Highland Park, New Brunswick, East Brunswick, South River and Edison.

In addition, each attending mayor will speak on recent developments of interest in their municipality.

“This is an excellent chance for the county’s mayors to network and learn what challenges we are facing and what future goals we are pursuing,” says Woodbridge Mayor Frank G. Pelzman.
