2-week closure set for Sept. 9; Branches, Children’s Library will stay open
Woodbridge Township Main Library will close its Adult Department September 9 for installation of new carpet, Mayor Frank G. Pelzman has announced.
The Adult Department will be closed for up to two weeks. There will be no reference service and no access to books, magazines and media in the Adult collections. The Children’s Department will remain open during the project. Branch Libraries in Fords, Iselin and Colonia will also be open for full service.
“The Library will set up a temporary check out station in the Meeting Room on the ground floor,” says Library Director John Hurley. “People will be able to return Adult books and check out reserved books from there.”
The replacement of the carpet has been made possible by a grant from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.
