Woodbridge Librarian Elected President of NJ Library Association Section

Suzanne Miller of Woodbridge Public Library Fords Branch has been elected President of the New Jersey Library Association’s Children’s Services Section, Mayor Frank G. Pelzman has announced .

A children’s librarian since 1987, Ms. Miller hosts the syndicated Peekaboo Turtle television show, a multi-media story time program for pre-schoolers produced by Woodbridge Township Television in conjunction with the Woodbridge Public Library. Peekaboo Turtle received a Telly Award in 2003.

“Suzanne Miller’s dedication to the children’s library field and her innovative methods geared to increasing child literacy will be a great asset to the Library Association,” says Mayor Pelzman.

Adds Library Director JohnHurley, “We are very pleased that one of our Township librarians has been accorded this honor.”
