WHAT: ATTENTION JOB-SEEKERS… The Woodbridge Township Public Library is offering a FREE class “Jump Start Your Job Search” designed to assist job-seekers develop better job-search skills. Experienced reference librarians will guide job-seekers through a tour of the library’s career resources, offer tips on identifying and researching potential employers, and provide assistance identifying on-line resources, books and publications.
Combine a tour of the library’s career resources with hands-on practice that shows job-seekers how to find out about careers and the kinds of skills and training required, prepare for job tests, and research potential employers. The library maintains a large collection of resume and interview preparation books and an array of job search databases and directories.
NOTE: The free class is designed to spotlight the many library resources available to job-seekers… the class does not offer leads on specific jobs nor serves as a resume-writing service. Class size is limited… Advance registration is required.
