Popular Home Fashion s Store R etailer Donates $500 to Township Domestic Violence Response Team

HomeGoods , a division of The TJX Companies, Inc. of Framingham, Massachusetts, will officially open its 11th New Jersey location in Woodbridge on Friday, August 27 at 9:30 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting featuring Mayor Frank G. Pelzman, members of the Township Council and HomeGoods corporate personnel.

The home fashion s store is located at Woodbridge Towne Center, Main Street and Woodbridge Center Drive, in a shopping complex co-anchored by Wegman’s, Lowe’s and Treasure Island.

“We are very pleased that HomeGoods views Woodbridge as a good partner for its growth,” said Mayor Frank G. Pelzman. “The company’s local hiring policies will also have a beneficial impact on our economy.”

HomeGoods’ corporate philosophy is our commitment of hiring all store management and associates from the area brings approximately 60 full and part-time associates for positions to the Woodbridge store . ,” s aid Piehler . In addition, HomeGoods will donate $500 to Woodbridge Township’s Domestic Violence Response Team.

The Mayor’s official welcome proclamation will be accepted by Stewart Faulcon , Woodbridge Store Manager, and Geoff Piehler, HomeGoods Assistant Vice-President/Regional Manager Northeast.
