WHAT: Woodbridge Township will kindle the holiday spirit with the annual Town Hall Tree Lighting ceremony.

Members of the Woodbridge Township community

Woodbridge Township Mayor John E. McCormac and members of the Town Council will join with the community and area school children for the annual Woodbridge Town Hall tree lighting ceremony on Thurs., Dec. 7 at 5:30 P.M. The ceremony will take place in front of Woodbridge Town Hall and will feature holiday chorus selections by the Menlo Park Terrace School 19 Chorus. Refreshments will be served on the 2 nd Floor Atrium. The holiday tree was donated by Rising Up.

“The lighting of the holiday tree is a community tradition that represents joy and hope for the season,” Mayor McCormac said. “I am delighted to be able to participate in this tradition and offer the best of health and happiness to all Township residents.”

Mayor McCormac and Council President Patricia Osborne reminded Township residents of the many events throughout the Township as “ Woodbridge Celebrates the Holidays!” All events are free and open to the public.

 

HOLIDAY PARADE
Sun., Dec. 3 at 1:30 pm
Downtown Woodbridge ¨ Rain Date – Sun., Dec. 10
The parade starts at Woodbridge High School and finishes at the reviewing stand in front of Town Hall. The theme for this year’s parade is “A Holiday of Reflection.”
