Annual Food Drive Seeks To Collect More Than 10,000 Pounds of Food

 

WHAT: The 2007”Have a Heart” food drive will conclude with students from Robert Mascenik School #26 presenting donated food items to Mayor John E. McCormac and representatives of the Woodbridge Township “We Feed” Food Bank Committee.

The 2007 “Have a Heart” food drive will conclude with students from Robert Mascenik School #26 presenting donated food to Mayor John E. McCormac and representatives of the “We Feed” Food Bank Committee during ceremonies at the Woodbridge Health Department.

Mayor McCormac and Peter Barcellona, Chairman of the We Feed Food Bank Committee will announce details of the 2007 food drive. The annual “Have a Heart” food drive effort, coordinated by the Woodbridge Department of Health & Human Services, works with area food pantries, churches, parishes, schools, and community and senior organizations to replenish and restock Township food pantries.
