Woodbridge Fireworks Fundraiser Set for June 14

Charity event supports upcoming Independence Day waterfront gala
A fundraising dinner for the 1st Annual Woodbridge Independence Day Celebration is set for 7 p.m. June 14 at Royal Albert’s Palace, 1050 King Georges Post Road in Fords, Mayor Frank G. Pelzman has announced.
Tickets for the pasta dinner are $25 per person. For tickets or to make a donation call (732) 661-1060.
Proceeds from the dinner go to the We Care, We Share Foundation headed by Royal Albert’s Palace owner Albert Jasani. The Foundation is a co-sponsor with Woodbridge Township of the free Woodbridge Independence Day Celebration set for 7 p.m. July 3 at Alvin P. Williams Memorial Park in Sewaren.
“We are grateful to Albert Jasani for spearheading the effort to bring community fireworks back to Woodbridge ,” says Mayor Pelzman. “We hope everyone can join us June 14 for the fundraiser and again on July 3 for the free fireworks.”
