Mayor Cites Need for Expanded Program Opportunities
Woodbridge Township has received a $7,010 grant from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs to expand accessibility of the Township’s recreation programs , Mayor Frank G. Pelzman has announced .
The funding is from the DCA’s Recreational Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilities program and will be used to help adults with disabilities take part in recreation programming.
“The grant provides funds that cover the cost of support personnel, transportation and activity fees,” said Mayor Pelzman. “ Woodbridge has a stellar menu of recreation programs, and it is important that all residents be able to enjoy them. We are grateful to the DCA for helping us extend these opportunities.”
