Mayor Frank G. Pelzman announced that Woodbridge Township Council has authorized the fulfillment of Contract No. 2213, Road Program Area-C. This will bring road reconstruction and improvements to sanitary sewers, storm sewers, curbs and sidewalks to six streets in Sewaren, Keasbey, Fords and Woodbridge. "This round of improvements will have a positive impact for many people in Woodbridge," said Mayor Pelzman. Additional road work throughout the Township will occur this year once the Council approves bids on the full 2004 road reconstruction program. "Road and street improvements are a chief priority in our Township agenda for this year," said the Mayor. Streets slated for improvements in the Road Program Area-C are: · Russell Street (Woodbridge) from Cutter Dock Road to Earl Street · Winston Drive (Woodbridge) from Rutherford Avenue to Ridgedale Avenue · South Robert Street (Sewaren) from Sewaren Avenue to West Avenue · Highland Avenue (Keasbey) from Smith Street to Greenbrook Avenue · Highland Terrace (Fords) from Ford Avenue to Sheppard Place · Ansonia Place (Fords) from Highland Terrace to end of Ansonia Place
