Charity links event supports sport leagues for developmentally-challenged youth
Woodbridge Township Parks & Recreation Department will hold its 6 th Annual John J. Seyler Buddy Ball Charity Golf Outing June 19 at 1 p.m. at Cranbury Golf Course, 49 Southfield Road, West Windsor, Mayor Frank G. Pelzman has announced.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Woodbridge Township Buddy Ball Sports, a self-supporting sports program designed for physically- and mentally-challenged youth . Woodbridge Township Buddy Ball operates 12 months a year, offering programs in baseball, hockey, basketball, swimming, bowling and soccer.
“Buddy Ball is a program that benefits not only the young people who play the sport but the adults who become volunteers and supporters,” says Mayor Pelzman. “It is one of the best things about our community, and we hope everyone can join us June 19 for this worthy fund-raising event.”
