Woodbridge Hosts Passport Satellite Office & Notary Registration May 4 |
Apr. 22, 2006
WOODBRIDGE – Woodbridge will host a one-day Satellite Passport Office on May 4, Mayor Frank G. Pelzman has announced.
Hours will be from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Woodbridge Town Hall, 1 Main Street, Woodbridge. No appointment is needed. For additional information on passport application requirements, call the Middlesex County Passport Information Line at (732) 745-3404.
In addition, the Passport Office staff will be prepared to administer Notary Public swearings-in, says Linda Dashuta, Supervisor of the Middlesex County Passport Office. “Anyone who has applied to the State to become a Notary Public and has received their paperwork back from the State may stop in to Woodbridge on this day and be sworn in instead of coming into New Brunswick,” she says. For information about the notary service, call (732) 745-3870.
“We are always looking for ways to make government service more accessible,” says Mayor Pelzman. “The county’s satellite passport service is a convenience that benefits many Woodbridge residents as well as residents from surrounding towns who no longer need to travel to New Brunswick.”
