Office Depot Grand Opening Grants. . . including $500 Big Check |
As part of the company's mission to impact the lives of children, Office Depot will be making donations to the following local non-profit organizations: Woodbridge Public Library , Kiddie Keep Well Camp and Community FoodBank of New Jersey .
Office Depot will also hold an in-store food drive with Community FoodBank of New Jersey from Thursday, January 6 through Friday, January 14. While all donations are welcome, it is preferred that food donations be non-perishable and packaged in unopened boxes, cans or plastic containers.
Additionally, a donation of 440 backpacks , with basic school supplies will be presented to the Woodbridge Township School District. Woodbridge Township School District Superintendent Vincent Smith will attend the event and accept the donation.
Says Mayor Frank G. Pelzman , “We are always glad when an employer takes an avid interest in helping the community. These grass-roots groups positively impact thousands of people a year in our Township. Office Depot's recognition of their service role is fitting and timely.”
