WOODBRIDGE – As part of its Celebrate Older Americans Month, Woodbridge Township will offer a freeelder law seminar in wills, estates and other legal issues of concern to senior citizens and their families, Mayor Frank G. Pelzman has announced.
The seminar takes place from 10 a.m.-noon, Thursday, May 4, at the YMCA at Woodbridge Community Center, 600 Main Street, Woodbridge. There is no charge, but registration by May 3 is required by calling (732) 745-5716. Coffee and donuts will be served.
The seminar will be presented by two experienced elder law attorneys, Middlesex County Surrogate Kevin J. Hoagland and Gary J. Hoagland, Esq. of Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst & Doukas.
“With the aging of our population, families are facing new challenges dealing with the complexity of laws governing inheritance, living wills, power of attorney and more,” says Mayor Pelzman. “This is an informative program that no one with an elderly parent or relative should miss.”
