The staff at the YMCA-Community Center learned that area soldiers serving in Afghanistan were not able to obtain comfort items such as toiletries, wet ones, non-perishable foods, books, magazines, and related items. In true community spirit, the YMCA-Community Center senior members coordinated a project to get the solders comfort items by collecting donations and involving the preschool children with writing letters and drawing pictures on the CARE packages before being sent to the soldiers overseas..

Stop-by the Woodbridge YMCA-Community Center on Fri., March 23 @ 11:30 a.m. as “Operation Comfort Package” readies the final packages before sending them off to the 82 nd Airborne in Afghanistan.
