Emergency

WOODBRIDGE STORM ALERT   

This is a message from the Woodbridge Township Office of Emergency Management.  
A storm alert has been issued for Tues., Feb. 9 from 4:00 P.M. until Thurs., Feb. 11 at 11:00 A.M.  All vehicles must be removed from streets designated as snow streets in order for snow plowing to take place.  Parking prohibitions will remain in effect on all snow streets until the street has been plowed and on-street parking will not interfere with the normal flow of traffic.  The Office of Emergency Management and the Department of Public Works will monitor local storm conditions and is at the ready to implement appropriate public safety alerts and operations if necessary. 

Woodbridge Township residents should tune to local TV news and weather reports, TV-35, or log-on to the Township Web Page at: www.twp.woodbridge.nj.us for weather information or specific storm-related announcements. 

 
TRASH & RECYCLING SCHEDULE:
THE FOLLOWING CANCELLATIONS AND/OR CHANGES TO TRASH COLLECTION AND RECYCLING PICK-UP ARE IN EFFECT:
--Wednesday (Feb. 10) Trash Pick-Up for Solid Waste District 3 (SWD 3) is moved to Thurs., Feb. 11.
--Wednesday Recycling is moved to Thurs., Feb. 11
--Thursday (Feb. 11) Recycling Collection for Recycling District4 (RD4) is moved to Fri., Feb. 12.
--Regular Trash Collection for Thurs., Feb. 11 is cancelled.
--Recycling Pick-Up for Recycling District 5 (RD 5) is cancelled.

The Public Meeting Information meeting scheduled for Wed., Feb. 10 at JFK High School to discuss the new Automated trash Collection & Recycling Program has been cancelled.  Residents of Avenel, Iselin, Colonia, Fords, Hopelawn and Keasbey should plan to attend the Public Meeting scheduled for Thurs., Feb. 18 at 7:00 P.M. at Fords Middle School.  For more information contact the Mayor’s Office at 732-602-6015.

MUNICIPAL COURT ANNOUNCEMENT:
Please listen to WCTC 1450 AM or NJ 101.5 FM after 5:00 A.M. (Wed., Feb. 10) for any Woodbridge Township Municipal Court cancellations.
